Publication Approval Committee is set up to assist and advice the Dean of Research Management Centre on matters pertaining to first level screening/approval of the manuscript.

Composition

The committee consists of the Dean of Research Management Centre as Chairman, Deputy Dean (IIUM Press), four appointed members (2 for Arabic manuscripts and 2 for English manuscripts). Assistant Director (IIUM Press) acts as secretary to the meeting.

Functions

·To evaluate manuscripts received on their suitability in line with the vision and mission of the University

·To ensure the authorities obligations towards the publication

·To propose ways and means of enhancing publication activities
