We, the staff of Research & Innovation Office are committed to practice the best quality with professional ethics in managing the research, consultancy and publication in order to meet our clients expectation. We promise;

A.    Research

 II.   To facilitate research activities and provide sufficient research fund

a.       Research applications to be approved within stipulated time:

b.       50% of academic staff with PhD to lead research projects

c.        A minimum of RM5 million external grants/funds

d.       A minimum of three (3) MOA/MOU with outside bodies for research in a year

III.    To ensure effective management of research output

a.   80% of approved research project to be completed within stipulated time:

b.   A minimum of five (5) research projects to be filed for patent in a year

c.   To participate in a minimum of five (5) research expositions or exhibitions a year

d.   A minimum of 20 research projects to receive awards in research Expositions and

      Exhibitions

B.    IIUM Press

a)    To increase number of academic publications by 10% annually

b)    To ensure that 10% of the total number published books annually are from completed   

        research projects

c)    To ensure that the authors comply 100% with the reviewers' suggestions/comments

 II.   To ensure the effective management of published products

a)    To maintain strategic alliance with at least 2 international publishers/distributors per 

       year

b)    To increase sales by 5% annually

c)    To participate in at least 5 book exhibitions, expositions and book sales (such as during

       conference) yearly
